Liam started playing the trombone at the age of nine, studying classical music with Eliezer Aharoni at the Kfar Saba conservatory, and getting exposed to jazz by saxophonist and educator Alexander Sasha Kantsberg. He continued his education at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts‘s prestigious jazz program. Later on, as a member of the Global Jazz Institute directed by Danilo Perez and the Jazz and Gender Justice Institute directed by Terri Lyne Carrington at Berklee college of Music Liam studied with Joe Lovano, John Pattituci, Linda May Han Oh, George Garzone and Kris Davis. He has performed alongside Tony Malaby, Ben van Gelder, Daniel Fredriksson, Karin Hammar, Mattias Ståhl and Doug Johnson.
Liam is a graduate of Berklee College Music (B.M. 2023) and Universität der Künste Berlin (M.Mus. 2025.)

Since 2023 Liam is based in Europe and is part of multiple international bands touring France, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
